Jill Hollingsworth has never known life without dance.
From age four, starting with ballet, jazz and then modern dance Jill found
her passion, career and life’s work.

Jill has trained with some of the world's top dance teachers and instructors.
She has danced, trained and performed in five countries and three continents.
She has performed on stage and television in such genres as: ballet, modern
dance, jazz, folk and national dances, Standard ballroom, Latin ballroom and
of course Salsa.

Jill is a graduate of the Ryerson University Dance Teachers Programme. She holds
an Honours B.F.A. (Bachelor of Fine Art) in dance from York University as well
as a B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) from the University of Toronto. Jill also has the
distinction of having earned the letters of A.R.A.D. (Advanced Royal Academy of
Dance, ballet) and advanced standing with the I.S.T.D. (Imperial Society of
Teachers of Dance) in modern, jazz and folk/national dance.

Jill's continued passion for learning new dance movement led her to the
partnered dances of Ballroom and Latin dance These, in turn, brought her to
the hot and spicy Salsa. The vibrant music and sensual movement of Salsa
have become part of the fabric of Jill's life.
